Unlocking Yard Space with a New Patio & a Flooding Fix
The Roadblock
Cars could barely turn around in this long, narrow driveway—to make things worse, water runoff from the street was also flooding it regularly. And, the clients had no outdoor area to enjoy their yard.
Our Path Through
To fix the driveway, our team put in a new, much wider paver driveway designed for better accessibility. Taylor oversaw installation of a retaining wall on the terraced hillside to control drainage, so the street runoff is no longer a problem.
With the driveway issues resolved, our crew turned attention to building an outdoor area. We put in a big patio and installed a fire pit to give the house a “hangout spot” outside. The patio pavers will last a long time and drain water easily, so the clients can enjoy their yard, hassle-free.
